The natural world is full of wonder - let your young writers bring it to life in poetry!
From the mighty roar of lions to the gentle flutter of a butterfly’s wings, nature is filled with beauty, strength, and mystery. This is your students' chance to celebrate the wild wonders of our planet and speak up for its future.
Do they marvel at the towering trees of the rainforest, or the quiet stillness of a snow-covered field? Perhaps they’re inspired by the vibrant coral reefs, or majestic whales gliding through the ocean's depths. They can write about their love for a certain animal, reflect on the importance of conservation, or explore the plight of endangered species and the need to protect our fragile ecosystems.
Encourage your students to explore the world around them and express their thoughts through poetry. There are no limits - poems can be long or short, funny or serious, written or typed. Creativity has no boundaries!
Download the entry form, or ask students to type up their work. You can then email, upload or post their entries to us. See the How to Enter tab for more details.
Selected poems will be published in a special anthology and our favorite entry will receive a prize!
We can’t wait to see how your students capture the beauty of the natural world.
