The Glitch Video

The Glitch allows your child to imagine what happens when an ordinary day turns extraordinary. What are the effects on the world if one thing changes? How would reality be altered if one thing goes wrong? How can one mishap affect a life? These are the questions we're asking your child to consider for this mini saga contest.

The possibilities are endless, allowing your child to write about what inspires them, which will lead to an engaged, confident writer. The 100-word limit takes away the fear of long-form writing, allowing them to focus on the action and carefully consider their word choices.

Download the fantastic, free resources to help your child plan and write their stories:

💥 Model example stories from previous winning entrants

💥 Optional story starters to fire up their imagination

💥 Graphic organizer with word bank

💥 Mini activities to help spark ideas

Writing for the purpose of being published in a real book is always guaranteed to capture attention, and that combined with the exciting video which introduces the activity will make your child eager to get writing! We can't wait to read their story!
